Victoria Beckham has come a long way from her Spice Girl days, becoming the matriarch of her own fashion empire and dressing many celebrity ‘family friends’ over the years

The 48-year-old designed Eva Longoria’s wedding dress and bandmates Mel B and Melanie C’s formal frocks – and everyone from her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz to Meghan Markle have worn her designs

Victoria Beckham’s career has certainly been a diverse one, from her early girl band days as a Spice Girl, a solo singer and reality TV star, to Brand Beckham matriarch and fashion house empire. Throughout all of it, she’s remained fiercely loyal to her industry friends and inner circle, often dressing them for special occasions.

One thing is for certain: if Beckham has a soft spot for you, you’re bound to be dressed by the designer herself at some point.

1. Eva Longoria

The actress and the designer have been close ever since they met in 2007. Longoria was at the peak of her TV career as one of the Desperate Housewives cast members while Victoria was a newbie in Hollywood after husband David signed a contract to play with the Los Angeles club, LA Galaxy. A lot has happened since then, but their friendship and love for fashion remain unchanged.

From birthdays, weddings and big events to Spice Girls tours and lavish holidays, Beckham and Longoria, 48 and 47, respectively, have been attached at the hip for years. So it’s no surprise that Beckham was Longoria’s go-to wedding dress designer for her big day, when she married José Bastón in 2016.

“It wasn’t my first rodeo and I just wanted something sweet and simple and elegant – and no better person to do it than Victoria. So, I went to London a couple times for fittings and we went over fabric and styles. She pulled out all these fabrics and every single dress she’s ever made. We looked at all the tops, bottoms, zips, styles, and it was a really fun experience,” Longoria told People.
