7 fashion drops that blend nostalgia with fun, from Louis Vuitton to Dior and Versace

The season’s must-see collabs, from Balenciaga’s sport-luxe fusion to Dior’s literary Book Tote and Versace x Onitsuka Tiger’s Sakura sneaker
Balenciaga

Couture and sportswear come together in Balenciaga’s fall 2026 collection. Leggings in moisture-wicking and breathable fabrics are paired with leather jackets and elegant crystal-embellished heels designed in collaboration with shoemaker Manolo Blahnik. A fitness mat emblazoned with the Balenciaga logo is also part of the range.
Dior

Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin stole the show when he arrived at the Dior fall/winter 2026 show in Paris clad in a jumper embroidered with the original cover of the children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Dating back to 1969 and written by American author Eric Carle, the book tells the story of a famished caterpillar who eats all kinds of food before turning into a butterfly. The same image is also on Dior’s Book Tote, one of the label’s signature bags, as part of a series celebrating famous works of literature ranging from Dracula by Bram Stoker to In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.
Emmanuelle Khanh

Actress and R&B scion Tracee Ellis Ross has long been a fan of the striking eyewear from French brand Emmanuelle Khanh. It made sense, then, for Ross and the label to partner for a range featuring oversized, colourful frames. Made in France, the glasses combine French flair with Ross’ maximalist approach to fashion.
