The Broadway star – who was once rumoured to be dating Mean Girls’ Renée Rapp – plays Logan in the hit hockey sports romance

Ice hockey, a love triangle and the fake-dating trope … Prime Video’s latest show, Off Campus, brings together all the best elements of some of the internet’s favourite romance shows (Heated Rivalry, The Summer I Turned Pretty and Maxton Hall) from the past few years.

Adapted from author Elle Kennedy’s book series of the same name, Off Campus follows Briar University’s hockey-hating music major, Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), who strikes up a fake relationship with hockey captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) to make her long-time crush Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston) jealous.

Among the main cast members is Broadway star Antonio Cipriano, who plays Garrett’s best friend, Logan. Born in May 2000, Cipriano grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, where he attended University Liggett High School.

When he was in his junior year, he was named best actor at the Sutton Foster Ovation Awards, which celebrates high school theatre across Michigan. Afterwards, he went on to become a finalist at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known as the Jimmy Awards, which has been compared to the Tony Awards for high school theatre.

Cipriano always dreamed of becoming a Broadway star, and these dreams came to fruition months after the Jimmy Awards, when he received a Facebook message from casting director Stephen Kopel asking him to audition for a role in the Jagged Little Pill Broadway musical, according to the Metro Times.
