One of the key characters in Hannah’s story is her best friend, Allie Hayes, played by actress Mika Abdalla. In one striking scene, Allie – who’s a theatre and performance art major at Briar U – dresses up as Jennifer Lopez for a Halloween party.
She can be seen wearing a dress that closely resembles J. Lo’s green silk chiffon Versace number that she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards.
The scene not only caught the attention of Allie’s potential love interest, hockey player Dean Di Laurentis (played by Stephen Kalyn), but also of Lopez herself, who reposted a clip of Allie on X, writing, “Love this shooooww.”
