Meet Monica Mosseri, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri’s wife who attended the Met Gala with him

The ex-Facebook employee met her future husband during her time with the company, has 3 sons – and doesn’t have a public Instagram account
He sported a hand-embroidered suit from the Delhi-based label Kartik Research, which has also dressed figures such as New York mayor Zohran Mamdani and actor Paul Mescal. Accompanying him, his wife Monica opted for a pale blue corset and skirt by Atelier des Modistes.

Earlier this year, Adam appeared in a California court to testify in a landmark trial over allegations that tech firms design their platforms to be addictive and harmful to young people. Alongside Instagram and its parent company Meta, which also owns Facebook and WhatsApp, social media companies like YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok were also named in the suit.
During the trial, Adam also caught heat after he revealed his salary to be US$900,000 per year on top of annual performance bonuses and stocks worth millions of dollars.

She worked at Facebook for several years

Monica Mosseri graduated from George Washington University with a degree in business and marketing in 2005. She went on to work as an order management specialist at Williams Sonoma, a kitchenware retail company, for two years before landing the role of user operations specialist at Facebook.
She stayed at Facebook for over seven years, climbing the ladder to product partnerships manager before she eventually quit in 2014.
In 2015, Monica co-founded Me & Mo Food, a meal subscription service company. Two years later, she became a business partner at Geremia Design, “a full service design studio that creates signature spaces through custom interiors and art curation”, per her LinkedIn profile.
