K-pop girl group Babymonster also confirms stop at AsiaWorld-Arena on January 9

The announcement coincides with K-pop act Babymonster’s reveal on Monday that the girl group will perform in the city on January 9 next year at AsiaWorld-Arena, marking the final leg of a regional tour.
The Weeknd revealed on Monday that his Hong Kong shows would take place on October 30 and 31 at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium.
The performances are part of a wider Asia leg that includes stops in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur between September and November.
Ticket sales for the Hong Kong shows will begin with an artist presale on May 18, followed by multiple rounds of presales for ZA Visa cardholders, Trip.com users and Live Nation members before general sales open on May 21. Tickets will be sold through HK Ticketing and Trip.com.

Earlier this week, Live Nation posted a cryptic teaser video across several regional social media accounts, including those for Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand, with the caption: “A Foreshadowing Of The Final Leg.”
