Hanoi's chef to the stars shares secrets for preparing delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine

The late Anthony Bourdain once described chef Anh Tuyet's roasted honey chicken as the best he'd ever had. The Vietnamese chef, who specialises in traditional Hanoi cuisine, has also cooked for world leaders including former US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. One of the few chefs who still serves up traditional Hanoi cuisine, Tuyet has been recognised as a culinary ambassador in Vietnam. She shared some of her culinary secrets with the South China Morning Post.
