Thousands turn up at funeral of Punjabi rapper to mourn death of Sidhu Moose Wala

Thousands of mourners have attended the funeral of Sidhu Moose Wala. The cremation ceremony for the 28-year-old Punjabi rapper, whose real name is Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was held on May 31, 2022, two days after he was shot and killed. Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar has claimed responsibility for his death. Police initially linked Moose Wala’s murder to an inter-gang rivalry, but later clarified that the singer was not a “gangster or affiliated with gangsters”.
