Climate change threatens Nepal’s generations-old tradition of honey hunting

In a remote village about an eight-hour drive from Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, farmers risk their lives to harvest wild honey. Himalayan giant bees, also known as Apis laboriosa, build their hives on cliffs and reaching the hives is risky business. Now, extreme weather brought on by climate change and other factors has made the farmers' work even harder.
