Spinning plastic into brooms: the Cambodians on a mission to reduce waste

Discarded plastic bottles are being transformed into durable broomsticks by a Cambodian company trying to tackle the country's plastic waste problem. The warehouse operation has converted around 40 tonnes of plastic bottles into brooms since 2023. The initiative reduces pollution, supports local workers and provides a cost-effective alternative to imported brooms.
