Divers recover bodies of Chinese tourists who died in Russia’s Lake Baikal

A tour bus carrying Chinese tourists has plunged through ice on Russia’s Lake Baikal, killing eight people. The bus was crossing the frozen lake, a popular tourist destination, when the incident occurred on February 20, 2026.
