South Korean supergroup BTS returned to the stage of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, 2026. It was their first performance together in four years after members took a break for mandatory military service. The seven-member boy band drew a crowd of 104,000 fans, fewer than half the turnout expected. It resulted in shares of its agency, Hybe, falling as much as 15 per cent on March 23, the first trading day since the event. A Netflix live stream of the concert was broadcast to millions of people across 190 countries.
