One of Thailand’s richest men has dismissed his cousin from the Singha beer business empire. The company announced the move on May 19, 2026, after days of controversy over allegations the man had sexually abused his brother. Environmental activist Siranudh Scott, a scion of the Bhirombhakdi family who control the ubiquitous Thai beer brand, posted an emotional video on his social media page. In the video, he accused his elder brother of repeatedly abusing him in his teenage years.
