North Korean female football team beats Suwon FC Women in rare South Korea match

North Korea’s Naegohyang Women’s FC reached the Asian Women’s Champions League finals on May 20, 2026. The team won 2-1 over South Korea’s Suwon FC Women in a rare match played in the South. It was also the first visit by a North Korean sports team to the South in eight years.
