Stuffed toy sparks animal advocacy for Japanese panda keeper in China

A childhood toy sparked a lifelong fascination with pandas that coaxed Abe Nobuko to move away from her native Japan to work in China taking care of the animals. She has become a dedicated advocate for the creatures at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
