Big harvest in China’s Chagan Lake winter fishing

It is the time of year when fishermen get busy ice-fishing in northeast China’s Jilin province. Braving the freezing cold winter, fishermen, tourists and horses work together to pull out large fishing nets from under the ice. Since mid-December, more than 450,000kg (992,000lbs) of fish has been harvested. The catch is either sold in an outdoor marketplace or online.
