Chinese audiences welcome return of Marvel films to mainland cinemas after nearly 4 years

Mainland Chinese audiences are welcoming back Marvel films to the big screens. The Disney franchise’s latest outing, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, started its run in mainland cinemas on February 7, 2023. It’s the first time officials there have allowed a Marvel movie to be released in the country since Spider-Man: Far From Home in July 2019.
