Hailstorms and heavy rain batter China’s Jiangsu province

Thunderstorms and heavy rain swept across the cities of China’s northeastern Jiangsu province on June 10, 2023. Hailstones up to 5 centimetres (2in) wide were seen in some cities. The provincial meteorological department said severe weather will last in Jiangsu for several more days.
