China’s dancing robots grabbed global attention, and now they have become the symbol of advanced technological breakthroughs. In this year’s two sessions, Premier Li Qiang’s work report and delegates’ proposals put great emphasis on the development and application of humanoid robots. Some delegates, such as Xiaomi’s founder Lei Jun, said humanoid robots are the next step towards lower manufacturing costs and improved efficiency.
