Chinese tech company’s robot tennis player said to be a match for human opponents

The robot developed by Tsinghua University and Galbot is able to return 88.69 per cent of shots it faces.

A tennis-playing robot developed in China by Tsinghua University and Galbot is described as being able to make sense of live gameplay and strike incoming balls with accuracy. Researchers developed the machine using fragments of motion data from five amateur tennis players.
