China’s Olympic diving champion Quan Hongchan says she is victim of cyberbullying

Three-time Olympic champion diver Quan Hongchan has revealed she is a victim of cyberbullying over her physique. The 19-year-old Chinese athlete said in an interview with Portrait magazine that the online abuse has made her feel “resistance and dissatisfaction” towards her body. Quan, who turned 19 on March 28, 2026, also discussed feeling pressure and confusion as she enters adulthood.
