Harmful chemicals detected in 90 per cent of hair products tested by Hong Kong consumer watchdog

More than 90 per cent of hair products sold in Hong Kong and tested by the city's consumer watchdog were found to contain harmful substances, some of which may affect sexual functions and reproduction. The quantities of such chemicals were low, but the Consumer Council said some of the tested items exceeded international, national and local standards.
