Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu has pledged to support Hangzhou-based tech firms in expanding in the city. Lee is in Zhejiang, where he met representatives from the “Six Little Dragons” on April 23, 2025. Two of the start-ups, BrainCo and Unitree Robotics, expressed interest in establishing a local presence or listing in the city. The Hong Kong leader also visited DeepSeek, which made headlines globally this year with its cost-efficient artificial intelligence (AI) models.
