Residents of Wang Chi House, the one block that was not damaged in the deadly fire at the Wang Fuk Court housing estate in Hong Kong, were allowed to go back into their flats briefly to collect items. Authorities said only two people per unit could enter the premises at designated hours on December 3 and 4, 2025. It has been one week since fire engulfed the other seven buildings in the Tai Po housing estate. Many residents have moved into temporary housing and experts have said it is difficult to know if the damaged buildings in the estate can be fixed.
