One of Hong Kong’s biggest bakery chains, Maxim’s Cakes, could face legal action after a customer found a tooth in a loaf of bread. The customer complained to the city’s Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD). Lab results confirmed the object was indeed a tooth. The FEHD has launched an investigation, saying it would pursue charges against Maxim’s if sufficient evidence is found.
