Hong Kong air passengers caught off guard by new airport limit of 2 power banks

The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department announced on March 28, 2026, a new rule that limits air passengers from carrying more than two power banks on board flights. Authorities said the move is to comply with International Civil Aviation Organization safety regulations for lithium batteries.
