Iran releases video of 2 container ships seized in the Strait of Hormuz

Two container ships were seized by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as they tried to cross the Strait of Hormuz on April 22, 2026, according to Iranian state media. The Epaminondas and the MSC Francesca, along with another ship the Euphoria, were fired on in the key waterway after the US extended its ceasefire with Iran. While the Euphoria turned back, the two other vessels were boarded and seized.
