Superstitions and the ‘invisible forces’ Chinese children fear while growing up

Many people who have grown up in a traditional Chinese household recall feeling anxious about the future while they were children. As the SCMP’s Luisa Tam explains, parents are known to tell a child that they will be doomed, or even jinxed for life, just for doing something considered out of line with tradition.
