Affluent retirees lead China's booming RV market as nomadic lifestyle becomes trendy

Recreational vehicle travel has become increasingly popular among China’s middle class. In 2015, China had about 30,000 RVs, but in 2021, the number grew to 283,000. Many retirees have become RV owners and begun adopting a nomadic lifestyle despite it going against social norms in China.
