Sanda and Taekwondo are martial arts disciplines which each have origins in East Asia and involve kicking, punching and taking opponents down. However, they are quite different techniques. Post reporter Erika Na spent a day learning Sanda with Hong Kong Wushu athlete Sunny Cheung Yat-lam and got a Taekwondo demonstration from master No Rae to discover first-hand how the disciplines compare.
