Hong Kong skateboarders can now show off their skills at a new skatepark that features a zone that is the first of its kind in the city to receive a “Competition Class 1 star” certification from an international governing body. The park opened on April 12, 2025, but only after an hours-long delay because of a downpour and some tense exchanges between the park staff and young skaters eager to get rolling and try out the venue.
