Long-serving Hong Kong district councillor Christine Fong Kwok-shan has finally won a seat in the city’s legislature. In her sixth bid over the course of 17 years, Fong bagged the largest number of votes in the December 7, 2025, election. In an interview with the Post, the 59-year-old shared her joy about the victory and revealed some of her plans for when she takes up her new post in January 2026.
