Hong Kong’s famed old Yau Ma Tei police station, a century-old building and popular selfie spot among mainland Chinese tourists, is hosting a new film-related exhibition from January 2, 2026. The “Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey” exhibition is curated by local filmmakers. Paying homage to Hong Kong’s classic police films such as Infernal Affairs and New Police Story, the show’s key exhibits include a replica Criminal Investigation Department detective’s office from the 1970s and 1980s.
