Santa’s ‘hometown’ sees Christmas travel recovery despite Omicron

Santa Claus’ home in Finland is seeing a recovery in Christmas tourism after the pandemic barred travellers last year. Tourists have been arriving in Rovaniemi from all over the world, and the number of charter flights are catching up to pre-pandemic levels.
