Bystander tackles, disarms gunman in Australia

Australian police said on December 15, 2025, that a father and son duo were the alleged offenders behind a deadly attack at a Jewish celebration in Sydney’s Bondi Beach. One of the gunmen was among the dead, bringing the death toll to 16. At least 40 other people, including three children, were taken to hospital with injuries.
