An Indian university has been asked to vacate its stall at the country’s flagship AI summit in New Delhi. The incident was sparked by a professor who reportedly tried to pass off a Chinese-made robot as one developed by her university. The silver mechanical dog was actually a model sold by Chinese start-up Unitree. It was put on display at a booth run by the private Galgotias University at the AI Impact Summit from February 16-20, 2026.
