Recap by phillip woo

Punted late Little Monster made his own luck in front from gate 11 and kept finding for a maiden win at his 10th start. He deserved that after racing well from awkward draws in a number of his six prior starts. Better And Better came to win the race 100m out but couldn't get by the winner after a handy run one off the fence. He has held his form well for seconds in back-to-back runs after a win. Mighty Fighter ran on nicely for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's naturally coming to hand in his three starts. Favourite Papaya Brose just got up near the inside for fourth travelling third last after getting badly squeezed soon following the start. Oldtown nearly got up for fourth after making his run second last from gate 10. He's close to a rating bottom.
