Recap by phillip woo

On The Lash led and was perfectly rated in front under 10lb claimer Nichola Yuen from gate three for a third course and distance success from seven starts this term. Rosewood Fleetfoot ran on nicely through the centre for second after a wide trip travelling third last from gate six. It was clearly his best effort this term. Super Hong Kong ended third after sustaining a bid following a wide trip from behind midfield to prompt the pace 600m out. It was a return to form after disappointing in back-to-back runs. Family Fortune came up one paced over the last 100m for fourth after taking off from near last 750m out. He was given too much to do from gate 14. Smart Beauty came from last for fifth. He seemed to appreciate the wet ground after failing in his first seven starts this term.
