Recap by phillip woo

Post-time favourite Rosewood Fleetfoot circled the field 900m out from midfield to lead 600m out and kept on strongly for a maiden win at his 15th start. He had put the writing on the wall with a near win last start over the Sha Tin 1,800m. Perfect Pairing stayed on nicely for second after a rails run from midfield. He rarely produces a bad run over 2,200m. Smart Beauty came from last and near the inside for third. It was a good effort at his first start over 2,200m but he was suited by the fast pace. Super Hong Kong was doing his best work late near the outside for fourth after making his run third last from gate 12. He was able to back up a third last start over 1,800m at Sha Tin. Mr Aladdin stayed on all right for fifth after sitting third in the run behind the hot pace of All Are Mine. Kasa Papa was next best after a wide trip without cover travelling better than midfield for the entire race from gate eight. Drifting early favourite Management Folks never landed a blow travelling behind midfield after his usual slow start. Sensationally-backed All Are Mine tamely faded after travelling keenly in front from gate two.
